Lawrenceville’s indie movie theater, Row House Cinema, will reopen Sept. 3 after an 18-month, pandemic-driven closure. One of the most important parts of any “Rocky Horror” screening is the “callbacks,” or the responses to certain lines, scenes and characters that audience members yell at the screen throughout the film. Callbacks are outrageous and ever-evolving, and they allow the audience to play off each other and build new traditions.

The theater itself is rather small and the one downside we found is that there is only one aisle so everyone has to enter each row from the same side. This makes it somewhat tricky if you have to get up in the middle of the movie to go to the restroom or get another beer.
